AI Solutions Analyst (Contract)Triangle Life | Remote | Independent Contractor (1099) | Greater Charlotte Area Triangle Life is seeking an experienced AI Solutions Analyst to help transform business challenges into practical, adopted solutions. This position sits at the intersection of business process improvement, technology enablement, automation, AI, and software delivery. Working closely with business leaders, operations teams, software engineers, and vendors, the successful candidate will help translate business intent into clear requirements, effective workflows, disciplined testing, and sustainable solutions. Working ArrangementAlthough this is a fully remote contract position, we believe some of the best ideas emerge through direct collaboration. The successful candidate will be based within easy driving distance of Charlotte, NC and available for periodic in-person collaboration with Triangle Life leadership and team members within the greater Charlotte area. What You'll Do • Lead discovery sessions to understand business problems, goals, constraints, and opportunities. • Document business processes, workflows, requirements, acceptance criteria, assumptions, and decisions. • Evaluate solution options including process improvements, existing platform capabilities, automation, AI tools, low-code solutions, and custom development requests. • Coordinate business user acceptance testing (UAT), including scenarios, evidence collection, defect follow-up, retesting, and business sign-off. • Work closely with business stakeholders, Digital leadership, Engineering, QA, and external vendors. • Maintain visibility into decisions, owners, dependencies, and follow-up actions across multiple initiatives. • Support approved analyst-managed solutions within established governance, security, and operational guardrails. What We're Looking For • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, Product Operations Analyst, or similar role. • Strong business process mapping and requirements gathering skills. • Experience working across business and technology teams. • Excellent written communication and documentation skills. • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Experience coordinating UAT and driving stakeholder adoption. • Demonstrated ability to solve business problems through a combination of process improvement, technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions. Nice to Have • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, workflow automation tools, or low-code/no-code platforms. • Experience in financial services, insurance, wealth management, or other regulated industries. • Experience working with distributed teams.
