Senior Technology Product Strategist | 12+ Month Contract | Hybrid – Charlotte, NC
We're looking for a Senior Technology Product Strategist to join a team driving innovation at the intersection of business strategy and technology execution. This is a 12-month+ engagement, hybrid (3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC).
What You'll Do
As the bridge between business strategy and technology delivery, you'll partner with business leaders, Solution Architects, AI Specialists, Product Teams, Engineers, and UX professionals to identify opportunities, shape innovative solutions, build roadmaps, and guide initiatives from concept through implementation.
You'll bring together business relationship management, design thinking, product strategy, and technology planning to help business areas solve complex problems and deliver measurable value.
Key Responsibilities
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders; facilitate discovery workshops and strategic planning sessions
• Translate business objectives into actionable technology opportunities
• Partner with Solution Architects, AI Specialists, and Engineers to evaluate and shape solutions
• Lead solution-design and ideation workshops; identify opportunities for AI, automation, and analytics
• Define MVPs, pilots, and experimentation approaches
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps, business cases, and investment plans
• Translate business needs into capabilities, requirements, and user stories
• Guide initiatives from concept through implementation, adoption, and measurable value realization
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Design, or related field
• 7+ years in Product Management, Business Analysis, Technology Strategy, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, or related disciplines
• Experience facilitating workshops, requirements discovery, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience developing roadmaps, business cases, and technology strategies
• Strong grasp of Agile, Product Management, and Design Thinking practices
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-management skills
• Proven ability to influence across organizations without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
• PM, Product Owner, SAFe, Scrum, Design Thinking, or Lean Six Sigma certification
• Experience with AI, automation, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives
• Utility or regulated industry experience
• Experience with enterprise architecture and governance processes
